ABSTRACT & PAPER SUBMISSION: Forms and Guidelines

Abstracts due: 31 December 2010
Notification of Acceptance: 15 January 2011
Full papers due: 29 April 2011

This is the only format through which papers and paper proposals will be accepted.

All submissions will undergo a blind review. All abstracts and papers will be published in CD format as Conference Proceedings. Selected papers will be reviewed and published in the SEARCH journal at a later date after the Conference.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Please use the prescribed Abstract Submission Form and follow the instructions given below:

1. Download Abstract Submission Form

2. Fill in the Form accordingly.

3. Email the completed Abstract Submissiom Form with email subject "SEARCH Conference 2011 Abstract Submission" to:

GUIDELINES FOR PAPER SUBMISSION

All papers are expected to be thoroughly researched and referenced.

Use plain English and, if jargon is necessary for your work, clearly explain its meaning.

We reserve the right to edit your work should it be chosen for publication in the SEARCH Journal.

The paper should be a Microsoft Word document, following the guidelines below:

Front page:

Title, author’s name(s), affiliations, contact information and an abstract of no more than 300 words with key terms.

Body of the paper:

Word count: 5,000 – 8,000 words
Font: size 12, Times New Roman
Spacing: double
Margins: justified
Quotations: referenced with page number and within “double quotation marks”
Referencing: Papers must be referenced in the APA style

OTHER INFORMATION

Registration: All presenters need to register to attend the conference. In the case of multi‐authored papers, at least one of the listed authors must attend in order for the paper to be included in The Second International SEARCH Conference 2011 Conference program.

Copyright: Articles and presentations submitted for The Second International SEARCH Conference 2011 remain the copyright of the author. However, authors by virtue of submission, agree to have their work published in The Second International SEARCH Conference 2011 Proceedings.

Registration for The 2nd International SEARCH Conference 2011 is now closed for presenters. You may still register as a attendee/audience of the Conference.

All attendees and presenters are required to register in order to attend the Conference.

Presenters should register on or before 15 April 2011 in order to be confirmed in our Conference Schedule.

3. Make payment for Conference Fee according the instructions on the Form.

4. Scan your Payment Remittance Slip.

*Full-time students are required to produce a valid student identification or registration card.

Note: Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

PAYMENT PROCEDURES

Kindly peruse the Conference Registration Form for detailed payment procedures.

Cancellation policy: For cancellation before 30 April 2011, a 75% refund will be made. Notice of cancellation must be received in written form (e-mail). No refund after 30 April 2011.

ACCOMMODATION IN MALAYSIA

All accommodation and transport arrangements are the responsibility of the respective participants and presenters.
